We proudly announce the International Cryptozoology Museum Conference, January 4-5-6, 2016, in America’s Oldest European-Settled City ~ St. Augustine, Florida.
The three-day event is a serious, scientific cryptozoology conference being held near the site of the 1896 “Giant Octopus” beaching.

The event will unfold over three days during Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the first full week of 2016. This takes place at the end of the Festival of Lights. It is a beautiful, calm time of year in St. Augustine, Florida.
January 4th – Day One: Speakers, Guests, Vendors arrive at the four-star Casa Monica Hotel (above, pictured) in St. Augustine, Florida. Afternoon activities for early attendees will be suggested. There are nearby sights to see, such as the Lightner Museum (below, pictured). Vendors (high quality scientific books to popular cultural cryptozoology items) will be set up for availability, beginning at 5 PM.)
January 4th – Day One Evening: A special guest speaker and a friendly reception – a “VIP Meet and Greet” – will be held at the Casa Monica Hotel, for attendees. Free to Casa Monica Hotel guests. $25, if you stay elsewhere.
January 5th – Day Two: A morning keynote will be followed by late morning and afternoon breakout sessions on international cryptozoological topics. Vendors. Book sales; meet the authors. Open to all conference registrants.
January 5th – Day Two Evening: A special showing of a documentary on the Creature of the Black Lagoon movies (inspired by the discovery of the coelacanth) and the Revenge of the Creature (filmed at Marineland) will be screened in a nearby art movie theater, rented especially for this conference. Free to Casa Monica Hotel conference-registered guests. $15 admission for others. Seating for non-Casa Monica guests is limited. Please sign up for this early.
January 6th – Day Three: Keynote Breakfast. Vendors. Open to all registrants. Breakfast included with all conference registrations.

January 6th – Day Three: Exclusive field trip for first 40 who are staying at the Casa Monica Hotel who sign up. The fee will be $60 for those who choose this optional end-of-conference trip. Tour of the secret private museum at Marineland (not open to the public), touch & feed dolphin experience, talk on the history of Marine Studios/Marineland, and an on-site photography opportunity at the site of the 1896 Giant Octopus beaching (via our chartered vintage tour bus).
